There are many ways you can be involved.
Spirit sales will be held in the fall and the spring. Shen and KODA apparel will be available for purchase.
The districtwide Bountiful BackPack Program is a partnership with the Regional Food Bank of NENY. That is designed to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not available, especially on weekends.
Book Fairs are held twice a year, once in the fall and again in the spring. Volunteers help out by assisting with book sales during the day or in the evening during the weeklong sale.
KODA participates in the General Mills Box Tops for Education Program. Collecting and counting Box Tops can be done at your own leisure.

New NO Fundraiser
The NYS PTA Honorary Life Membership Award is given to individuals (not couples or groups) in recognition of superior dedication and distinguished service to children and youth in any or all of the following areas: home, school, community and place of worship
National PTA Reflections welcomes all grades and abilities to explore and be involved in the arts. Annually, thousands of students will reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts.
This committee provides refreshments for a variety of PTA and/or school-sponsored events. Volunteers help by baking and providing supplies on one or more occasions.
The KODA PTA approves two scholarships to be awarded to graduating seniors. Parent members are needed to form a committee to select the award winners. Parent members will attend two meetings and review and score scholarship applications.
Odyssey of the Mind
October 3rd there will be an information session for the program at 7pm in the Gowana Middle School cafeteria. Parents and students are encouraged to attend. We will explain the program to the newcomers and provide time at the end for coaches to ask questions.
8th Grade MUD
In June, the PTA organizes and presents a daytime activity for our graduating 8th graders.
End of Year Staff Appreciation Lunch is held for all of the Teachers and KODA Staff. Volunteers needed to help organize, set up and serve food.
